The Saudi Media Forum developed this project in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority. Organizations from around the world submitted numerous initiatives for these awards. However, the joint Saudi initiative stood out for its contribution to promoting responsible technology use.

The AI Principles in Media document serves as a national reference framework for media organizations. Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary originally unveiled the framework during his opening speech at the previous Saudi Media Forum. These stages include data collection, content creation, editing, publication, and distribution. Furthermore, the framework addresses impact measurement and audience engagement. As a result, media organizations can use these guidelines to improve their daily operations.
