The Pakistan Airports Authority and WALEE Al-Nazawy have signed an agreement to launch a new airport Meet Assist service at Islamabad International Airport. This strategic partnership introduces a structured hospitality model to the country’s aviation sector. Consequently, passengers will access dedicated support during their transit through the terminal, which improves the overall travel experience.
Launch of the Airport Meet Assist Service
The new airport Meet Assist service, named Khushaamdeed, is the first of its kind in Pakistan. Meanwhile, similar concierge services are already standard across major airports in the Gulf, Europe, and Asia. This initiative aims to align local passenger facilitation with international standards, establishing a new benchmark for the country’s economy sector.
Service Features and Passenger Benefits
Specifically, travelers using the service will receive dedicated hosts, baggage assistance, and personalized guidance. In addition, the offering includes expedited facilitation and concierge support to make journeys faster and more comfortable. These features target diplomats, overseas Pakistanis, business travelers, families, and foreign delegations.
Public-Private Collaboration in Aviation
The collaboration represents a public-private effort to improve service standards within the local aviation sector. Furthermore, the initiative supports broader efforts to modernize the national aviation infrastructure. By combining hospitality, digital apps, and operational coordination, the partners plan to improve the overall traveler experience and strengthen the regional transit hub.
“Khushaamdeed introduces a level of passenger care and airport facilitation that has not previously existed in Pakistan. Our objective is simple: to make travel through Pakistani airports more efficient, comfortable, and welcoming while meeting international standards of service excellence.”
Air Marshal (Retd.) Arshad Malik, CEO of Khushaamdeed
Future Expansion Plans
Operations will initially commence at Islamabad International Airport. However, the partners are considering future expansion to other airports across Pakistan. This airport Meet Assist service is managed by WALEE Al-Nazawy, which is a joint venture between WALEE Group and Al-Nazawy Group focused on premium aviation and hospitality.
Notably, the service aims to transform how passengers experience air travel in Pakistan. As a result, the country expects to enhance its image among international visitors. The launch marks a significant step in the modernization of passenger services.
