Future Plans for Ajman Transport Authority

Under the partnership, the Ajman Transport Authority will work with e& to develop and evaluate smart solutions for bus route planning. This project will use operational and passenger data analysis to improve fleet efficiency and capacity planning. Consequently, the initiative aims to provide more flexible and sustainable transit services across the emirate.

Furthermore, the collaboration includes studying artificial intelligence applications in video and behavior analysis using computer vision technologies. This technology will help monitor passenger flow, manage crowds, and maintain safety standards. Meanwhile, it will also improve operational control across the authority’s facilities and networks.

Focus on Agentic AI and Automation

The integration of agentic AI is expected to reduce manual workloads for administrative staff. By automating routine tasks, both organizations aim to optimize resource allocation. Notably, the agreement also covers the exploration of specialized training programs to build digital capabilities among employees.

“Through this cooperation, we seek to support more efficient operations and improve the quality of services.”

Smart Route Planning and Computer Vision

The use of computer vision will assist in real-time monitoring of transit hubs. This system will analyze passenger behaviors to ensure compliance with safety regulations. In addition, the data collected will help the Ajman Transport Authority optimize its long-term infrastructure planning.

Professional Development and Training

To support these digital initiatives, the memorandum outlines plans for specialized training programs. These programs will focus on developing the skills of local talent in AI technologies. As a result, employees will be better prepared to meet the demands of ongoing digital transformation.
