Apple Business, a unified platform combining device management, business email, and customer discovery tools, will launch on Tuesday, April 14, in more than 200 countries and regions. Apple announced the platform on March 24, 2026, consolidating three existing services — Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple Business Manager — into a single free offering.

The platform targets businesses of all sizes, including small companies without dedicated IT departments. It replaces the three predecessor services, which will no longer be available after the April 14 launch date.

Built-In Mobile Device Management

Apple Business includes built-in mobile device management (MDM), giving administrators a single interface to configure employee groups, device settings, security policies, and app distribution. A new Blueprints feature enables zero-touch deployment, so devices arrive preconfigured and ready for employees without manual setup. Zero-touch deployment applies to devices purchased through Apple or Apple Authorized Resellers.

The platform integrates with identity service providers including Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID to automate Managed Apple Account creation for new employees. Cryptographic separation keeps company data and personal employee data distinct on shared devices. Administrators can also create custom roles and user groups, and access an Admin API for large-scale deployments.

Business Email, Calendar, and Directory Services

Apple Business introduces integrated email, calendar, and directory services with custom domain support. Businesses can bring an existing domain name or purchase a new one directly through the platform. Features include calendar delegation, a built-in company directory, and personalized contact cards for employees.

These collaboration tools require iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26. A companion Apple Business app lets employees install work apps, view colleague contact information, and request support from their devices.

Apple Business Ads on Maps Starting This Summer

Beginning this summer, businesses in the U.S. and Canada will be able to create ads on Apple Maps through Apple Business. Ads will appear at the top of search results based on relevance and within a new Suggested Places experience that surfaces recommendations based on trending locations and recent user searches. All ads will be clearly labeled for transparency.

Apple stated that a user’s location and ad interactions in Maps are not linked to their Apple Account. Personal data stays on the user’s device and is not collected, stored, or shared with third parties. Businesses must first claim their location on Maps when Apple Business launches in April before accessing the ads feature.

Current Apple Ads advertisers and agencies will retain the option to book Maps ads through their existing Apple Ads interface, which will offer additional campaign customization options.

Brand Management and Location Features

Brand management tools previously available in Apple Business Connect migrate to Apple Business at launch. Businesses can manage brand profiles — including name, logo, and key details — across Apple Maps, Wallet, Safari, and Spotlight. Rich place cards support photos, hours, location details, and custom actions such as order or reserve links directing customers to a preferred website or app.

Additional features include location insights showing how customers discover and interact with a business on Maps, branded communications in the Mail app and iCloud Mail, branding on tracked orders in Wallet, and a Tap to Pay on iPhone option that displays a brand logo on the payment screen.

Pricing and Availability

Apple Business launches as a free service on April 14. In the U.S., businesses can purchase additional iCloud storage up to 2TB per user, starting at $0.99 per user per month. AppleCare+ for Business coverage starts at $6.99 per month per device, or $13.99 per month per user for coverage across up to three devices.

Existing Apple Business Connect data — including claimed locations, place card information, photos, and account details — will migrate automatically to Apple Business at launch. Business Essentials customers will not be charged their monthly device management fee after April 14.

“Apple Business is a significant leap forward in our decades-long commitment to helping companies of all sizes leverage the power of Apple products and services to run and grow. We’ve unified Apple’s strongest business offerings into one simple, secure platform, delivering key features for organizations in every stage and sector, including built-in device management, collaboration tools, and additional ways to reach new customers.”

Susan Prescott, Vice President of Enterprise and Education Marketing, Apple

The business platform is available globally, though certain features may be limited to select countries and regions. Apple noted that ads on Maps will roll out to U.S. and Canada businesses starting summer 2026.
