Aster DM Healthcare, a prominent healthcare provider in the GCC, has achieved significant international recognition with five of its hospitals being named in Newsweek’s “World’s Best Hospitals 2025” list. Compiled in collaboration with Statista, the rankings evaluated hospitals on parameters including patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and overall quality of care.
Aster Sanad Hospital in Riyadh was ranked 38th in Saudi Arabia. Four hospitals from the UAE were also included:
- Aster Hospital Mankhool (#4)
- Aster Hospital Al Qusais (#16)
- Medcare Hospital Al Safa (#31)
- Medcare Hospital Sharjah (#35)
These rankings were informed by data from over 85,000 healthcare professionals, patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), and experience metrics (PREMs), ensuring a well-rounded evaluation of healthcare performance.

The inclusion of Aster hospitals in the global list highlights the organization’s efforts to align healthcare delivery with international best practices. By incorporating tools such as PROMs and PREMs, Aster is using direct patient feedback to shape medical services and improve outcomes.
The continued rise in rankings for several Aster facilities signals progress in operational excellence and a growing focus on digital health solutions. One such initiative is the launch of the myAster app, which offers patients access to a range of services including consultations, test results, and prescriptions through a single digital platform.
