The BenQ Board RP05 has officially launched in the Middle East to provide smart devices for classrooms and lecture halls.

BenQ Middle East announced the release of this interactive whiteboard on June 11, 2026, to support digital transformation in regional schools and universities. Consequently, this new model builds upon the previous RP04 series by integrating hardware and software updates.

Technical Specifications of the BenQ Board RP05

The BenQ Board RP05 is powered by the Android 15 operating system and features a 10 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This hardware configuration enables on-device artificial intelligence processing, which reduces latency and improves data privacy during daily classroom activities. In addition, the system operates without requiring external personal computers or Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) modules.

Interactive Features and Google Integration

Notably, the whiteboard includes a 50-point touch capability on Android, allowing multiple users to interact with the screen simultaneously. The device is also certified under the Google Enterprise Devices Licensing Agreement (EDLA), which grants secure access to Google Workspace and the apps on the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, teachers can use built-in tools such as EZWrite for lesson creation and InstaShare for wireless screen sharing.

Audio Visual Capabilities and Health Features

For hybrid education environments, the display integrates high-performance speakers and a multi-microphone array. Furthermore, the BenQ Board RP05 features ClassroomCare technologies to protect student and educator health. Specifically, these technologies include low blue light emissions, Eyesafe 3.0 certification, and a certified germ-resistant screen surface.

Regional Availability and Executive Statement

The display is currently available in an 86-inch format, with 65-inch and 75-inch models scheduled for release in the Middle East soon. Manish Bakshi, the spokesperson for BenQ Middle East, commented on the regional launch.

“Educational institutions across the Middle East are increasingly investing in AI-enabled technologies to create smarter and more collaborative learning experiences. The BenQ Board RP05 represents the next evolution of the interactive whiteboard, combining powerful AI capabilities, enterprise-grade security, and intuitive collaboration tools into a single platform designed for the future of education.”

Manish Bakshi, Executive at BenQ Middle East

In addition to classroom tools, the display includes a built-in broadcast feature that allows school administrators to send instant alerts and announcements across all connected screens. This centralized communication system helps manage large-scale campus environments. Consequently, the product aims to support digital transformation initiatives within K-12 schools and higher education institutions across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
