BenQ has launched the MOBIUZ EX Series, a new line of gaming monitors comprising three models — EX271UZ, EX321UZ, and EX271QZ — targeting open-world game players who prioritize visual fidelity. The company introduced the series on March 13, 2026, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The MOBIUZ EX Series centers on a technology called Smart Game Art, which BenQ describes as the first deep learning system trained on a AAA Game Art Color Database. The system automatically detects a game’s visual style and applies corresponding color settings without requiring manual input from the user.
Color Shuttle and Smart Game Art Technology
The Color Shuttle software provides over 120 tailored color profiles designed to match the art direction of specific game titles. Moreover, the system recognizes visual styles ranging from stylized anime to photorealistic role-playing games, then applies optimized settings accordingly. This approach aims to align on-screen output with the original artistic intent of game developers.
MOBIUZ EX Series Display Technologies
All three monitors feature QD-OLED panels with response times as low as 0.03ms GtG and refresh rates reaching up to 500Hz. In addition, the displays cover 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, with select models supporting Adobe RGB. The series spans screen sizes from 27 to 32 inches, offering QHD and 4K resolution options.
BenQ also incorporated two proprietary display technologies into the MOBIUZ EX Series. Spectral Color Refinement reduces visible color banding and smooths gradation across highlights and shadows. High Pixel Contrast, meanwhile, adjusts brightness and shadow detail on a pixel-by-pixel basis to increase depth and clarity in scenes with varied lighting conditions.
Connectivity and Hardware Specifications
The EX Series supports FreeSync Premium Pro and includes HDMI 2.1 with Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode. Furthermore, the EX321UZ model exclusively features a DisplayPort 2.1 connection at 80 Gbps. Additional connectivity options include eARC and media controls. The monitors ship with a redesigned low-profile stand built to accommodate soundbars.
