The new Bigo Live campaign turns the summer football season into a shared digital experience for fans across the Middle East and North Africa. The social livestreaming platform launched this initiative to bring together fans, creators, and communities across the GCC, Levant, and wider MENA region.
Details of the Bigo Live campaign
The activation runs from June 13 to June 28, 2026, providing a dedicated hub for football conversations, fan predictions, and creator-led debates. Meanwhile, the platform focuses on turning real-time cultural moments into community-led digital experiences where audiences can actively participate.
Interactive Features and Challenges
This Bigo Live campaign features an on-platform experience with football-inspired live missions, prediction activities, and country-themed community challenges. In addition, users can participate in trivia sessions, creator showcases, and leaderboard rewards through the official channels.
Football serves as a shared language that brings communities together through anticipation, debate, and celebration. Consequently, the platform offers new ways for fans to express their passion through livestreaming, short-form content, and interactive activities.
Creator Spotlights and Multi-Guest Rooms
As part of the activation, a creator spotlight series highlights football rivalries, regional fan communities, and creator-led discussions. Specifically, selected creators host themed livestreams featuring football-inspired visuals, hot-topic discussions, and community challenges.
Furthermore, the programming includes multi-guest room football channels throughout June and July. These sessions feature pre- and post-match conversations, weekly trivia, and Q&A formats led by creators from GCC and Levant markets.
Instagram Competition and Regional Focus
To extend the experience, Bigo Live introduced a football-themed Instagram competition running from June 15 to June 30, 2026. Fans can share Reels capturing match reactions, predictions, and celebrations to win recognition for creativity and community participation.
Notably, the platform will spotlight match-day moments with strong regional relevance, including fixtures featuring teams from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Algeria, and Jordan. Through this Bigo Live campaign, the platform aims to create a digital gathering place for fans.
“Football has a unique ability to bring people together, especially across the MENA region, where every match becomes a shared moment of anticipation, conversation and pride. Through this campaign, we are creating a digital gathering place where fans can celebrate the season in their own voices, creators can lead meaningful conversations, and communities can experience the excitement of football together.”
