Careem Pay international transfers now cover two new destinations, as the digital payments platform within the Careem app added Turkey and Saudi Arabia to its remittance network on April 10, 2026. UAE residents can now send money directly to bank accounts in both countries within 5 to 10 minutes.
The expansion brings the total number of countries supported by Careem Pay to more than 35. Other destinations on the platform include India, Pakistan, Egypt, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
Transaction Limits and Transfer Speed
The service supports high-value transfers, with a maximum of 150,000 UAE dirhams per transaction to Turkey and 36,000 dirhams per transaction to Saudi Arabia. Funds reach recipient bank accounts within 5 to 10 minutes, according to the company.
Careem Pay International Transfers and Careem Plus Benefits
Careem Plus subscribers receive fee-free transfers and exclusive exchange rates when sending money abroad. The company said this benefit helps subscribers reduce costs on each transaction compared to standard rates.
Why Saudi Arabia and Turkey
Saudi Arabia ranks among the largest remittance markets globally, with significant cross-border financial flows. The country’s Vision 2030 strategy promotes financial inclusion and encourages transfers to bank accounts. Turkey’s remittance market, meanwhile, is driven largely by approximately 6.5 million Turkish citizens living abroad. The UAE is one of the top sources of high-value transfers to Turkey, making both markets a logical fit for the expansion.

How to Access the Service
UAE residents can use the service by updating the Careem app and selecting the “Pay” option from the home screen. The feature is available immediately following the update.
Demand for fast and reliable transfers to both Saudi Arabia and Turkey has grown notably in recent months. Careem Pay said the platform was built to meet that demand, positioning the service as a direct alternative to traditional bank wire transfers and third-party fintech remittance apps operating in the UAE market.
