The latest COFE Tech funding round has closed at a valuation of $178 million ahead of a planned public listing on the Saudi Exchange by 2029. Venture capital firm Wa’ed Ventures, the investment arm of Aramco, co-led the financing alongside Aditum Investment Management during the LEAP 2026 conference in Riyadh.
Additional institutional backers joining the round included Masarrah Investment and Alyasra Foods. The enterprise software firm, originally known as COFE App, expanded its core offerings to provide digital procurement, supply chain tracking, and commercial management systems across the Gulf region, according to World Coffee Portal.
Significance of the COFE Tech Funding
Official details regarding the COFE Tech funding structure reveal a strong institutional push to support software platforms originating in the Middle East. The company currently serves more than 1,000 commercial entities across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
“At COFE, we provide enterprises with a unified platform where artificial intelligence agents automate procurement, sales, and inventory management. This approach allows businesses to operate with higher efficiency and integration.”
Ali Ebrahim, CEO and Founder of COFE Tech
The platform relies on autonomous agents to assist enterprise teams with daily transactional decisions and automated procurement routines. Consequently, corporate clients can deploy single functional modules before scaling software operations across entire supply chains.
Enterprise Technology and Strategic Expansion
The company continues to advance its software architecture by integrating procurement tools directly with business commerce systems. These operational capabilities rely heavily on AI to handle routine inventory orders and process vendor invoices without manual intervention.
“COFE developed a unified architecture that connects procurement and commerce ecosystems. It gives businesses the flexibility to adopt one tool and gradually expand without overhauling existing systems.”
Shahood Siddiqui, Chief Technology Officer of COFE Tech
Furthermore, early operational deployments demonstrated clear gains in financial reconciliation across multiple retail networks. The business continues to position its core enterprise modules alongside global software providers such as Salesforce.
Investor Participation and Regional Growth
Strategic participants in the COFE Tech funding round highlighted the regional shift toward enterprise digitization in Gulf markets. Institutional investors emphasized governance standards and capital discipline as essential prerequisites for long-term expansion.
“COFE Tech represents an example of technology firms capable of scaling from the Kingdom into regional and global markets. Wa’ed Ventures continues to back promising enterprises as Saudi Arabia builds an innovation economy.”
Anas Algahtani, CEO of Wa’ed Ventures
In addition, BlackRock regional partner Aditum Investment Management pointed to stable governance frameworks as a primary growth indicator. Representatives from Masarrah Investment and Alyasra Foods noted that patient long-term capital remains vital for software firms scaling beyond national borders.
Market Outlook Ahead of 2029 IPO
Looking ahead, the software company intends to consolidate its market share across primary GCC markets before pursuing a formal listing on the Saudi Exchange. Founder Ali Ebrahim and Co-Founder Hamad Al Sayer finalized the transaction terms alongside institutional partners during official sessions at LEAP 2026.
Meanwhile, the demand for enterprise apps tailored to local business logistics continues to rise across the Middle East. Through automated operations and expanded supply chain tooling, the enterprise aims to establish a lasting presence across regional commerce sectors.
