The cloud platform Denodo Agora is now available on the Microsoft Marketplace to support agentic artificial intelligence initiatives.

Denodo, a data management company, announced the availability of its fully managed cloud service on June 1, 2026. Consequently, Microsoft Azure customers can now use their entire data estate across hybrid, multi-cloud, and data-sovereignty environments.

Integration with Microsoft Services

The platform provides native integrations with several Microsoft services, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics. In addition, it connects with partner services such as Azure OpenAI and Azure Databricks. These integrations allow organizations to extend their AI capabilities to critical data residing in more than 200 source systems. Specifically, these sources include on-premises systems, software-as-a-service offerings, and other cloud platforms.

Connecting External Data Sources

Meanwhile, the service complements the semantic intelligence capabilities of Microsoft Fabric by providing a logical data access layer. This layer connects AI agents to operational and analytical data outside of Microsoft systems. For example, agents can access live data from non-Microsoft sources such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and Snowflake. Furthermore, this architecture supports multiple consumption patterns, including Microsoft Copilot agents using the Model Context Protocol integration.

Security and Governance Features

To support secure access, the platform integrates with Microsoft Entra ID to deliver fine-grained data governance capabilities. Notably, these capabilities include attribute-based access control, end-to-end lineage, and policy enforcement for non-Microsoft sources. As a result, organizations can maintain compliance with regulatory, data sovereignty, and cybersecurity requirements. This approach minimizes latency and reduces the risk of data drift across distributed environments.

Accessing Denodo Agora on Azure

Customers can now purchase Denodo Agora directly through the Microsoft Marketplace with multiple transaction options. These options range from free trials to private offers for annual contracts and consumption-based pricing models. Moreover, customers can apply this purchase toward their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment. Ultimately, this availability helps enterprises accelerate their AI initiatives within complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The deployment of Denodo Agora also includes a data marketplace for business users. Consequently, users can find, access, and utilize enterprise data through a shared semantic layer.

“Together with Denodo, we look forward to helping enterprises accelerate agentic AI initiatives, especially those operating in complex hybrid, multi-cloud, and data-sovereign environments.”
