du and Al Gharbia Pipe Company announced a strategic partnership to deploy Industrial AI Vision technology across UAE manufacturing operations. The collaboration was showcased at Make it in the Emirates 2026, with Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, and Noritsugu Mifune, CEO of AGPC, in attendance.
The partnership centers on a co-developed Industrial AI Vision Platform designed to enable automated manufacturing operations. The platform provides real-time quality inspection, enhanced traceability, and optimized decision-making across production environments. Key capabilities include real-time dashboards, visual analytics, AI-driven insights, and operational monitoring across fleet, logistics, and infrastructure functions.
Platform Capabilities and Deployment
The Industrial AI Vision Platform enables manufacturers to monitor operations through advanced data visualization and automated analysis. The solution integrates with existing manufacturing workflows to provide visibility across the production value chain. An interactive demonstration at the Make it in the Emirates event used synthetic, non-confidential data to illustrate how the platform improves operational visibility and decision-making.
Jasim Alawadi, CICTO at du, said: “du’s partnership with AGPC represents our commitment to driving the UAE’s industrial evolution through technology that delivers tangible outcomes. We are reimagining how manufacturing operates in service of the UAE’s vision for economic diversification and technological sovereignty.
