KING ABDULLAH ECONOMIC CITY (KAEC), Saudi Arabia – July 30, 2025 – Emaar The Economic City (EEC), the master developer of KAEC, has signed a strategic agreement with Al Tahaluf – a Saudi-American joint venture between K. Hovnanian and Hamad bin Saedan Real Estate Company – to develop two premium residential communities in the Al Murooj district of King Abdullah Economic City.

This new collaboration will bring luxury living to the Red Sea coast, featuring high-end four- and five-bedroom villas designed with tropical modernism architecture. The villas will range between 400 m² and 600 m² in built-up areas on spacious lots ranging from 600 m² to 1,000 m². Each unit will include shaded terraces, gourmet kitchens, soaring ceilings, and space for sustainable mobility options like golf buggies.

Set to launch in late 2025, the communities are tailored for local and international homebuyers seeking coastal resort-style living with premium amenities. The announcement comes just ahead of Saudi Arabia’s 2026 decision to allow foreign ownership in designated zones, making KAEC a highly attractive destination for global investors.

Strategic Vision & Connectivity

With unmatched access to Mecca, Medina, and King Abdulaziz International Airport via the Haramain High Speed Railway, KAEC offers a future-ready lifestyle destination that supports Vision 2030 goals of economic diversification and increased foreign direct investment.

“This project reinforces KAEC’s position as a premier lifestyle-led investment hub,” said Abdulaziz Alnowaiser, CEO of EEC. “Partnering with Al Tahaluf adds international expertise and signals the growing appeal of the city to discerning investors.”

Al Tahaluf will officially unveil the design plans at Cityscape Global later this year.
