Emirates Driving Company Q1 2026 results show strong financial performance, with the company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange under ticker DRIVE reporting total revenues reaching AED 189 million compared to AED 167 million in the same period last year.

The 13% revenue increase reflects sustained demand for driver training services and expansion of integrated mobility offerings. EBITDA climbed to AED 94 million from AED 84 million, marking a 12% increase, while net profit grew 9% to AED 75 million from AED 69 million in Q1 2025.

Financial Performance Strengthens Operations

Operational efficiencies and cost discipline drove profitability gains during the quarter. The company’s financial position remained solid across key metrics, supporting the organization’s broader transformation strategy and expansion plans throughout the UAE market.

Khaled Al Shemeili, Chief Executive Officer, stated: “Our first-quarter results mark a strong start to 2026 and reaffirm the resilience of our business model in delivering sustainable growth amid ongoing geopolitical and economic shifts. We have continued to advance our strategy of evolving from a driver training provider into a fully integrated mobility platform, supported by targeted investments and strategic partnerships.”

Strategic Shift to Integrated Mobility Platform

In February 2026, Emirates Driving Company launched a new corporate phase under the name “Emirates Mobility,” transitioning from an operational model to a specialized platform focused on developing a comprehensive mobility portfolio. This strategic rebranding strengthens the company’s position within the UAE’s integrated mobility ecosystem.

The company acquired a 22.5% stake in Mowasalat Holding at the end of 2025, gaining access to a diversified fleet across the UAE. The group operates over 1,000 buses for public and private transport, more than 2,500 taxis, and over 5,500 rental vehicles, significantly expanding Emirates Mobility’s service reach.

Digital Transformation and Innovation Focus

Emirates Mobility continues strengthening investments in innovation and artificial intelligence technologies across driver training, testing, and vehicle inspection operations. Advanced digital solutions enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience within the UAE’s rapidly evolving smart mobility sector.

Dr. Ahmed Odeh, Chief Financial Officer, said: “We achieved strong growth in profitability and cash flow during the first quarter of 2026, reflecting the strength of our financial position and disciplined cost management. We remain committed to delivering sustainable returns to shareholders while maintaining the financial flexibility required to support our expansion plans throughout the year.”

Corporate Social Responsibility and Road Safety

Beyond financial performance, the company maintains commitment to corporate social responsibility through road safety awareness initiatives. Strategic partnerships reinforce Emirates Mobility’s position as a comprehensive provider of safe and sustainable mobility solutions across the UAE, aligning with broader regional priorities for public safety and smart transportation infrastructure.
