The Fadda silver fund, Egypt’s first investment fund focused exclusively on silver, has received initial approval from the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), Beltone Asset Management said on March 18, 2026. The fund’s full name is the Beltone Evolve Silver Investment Fund with Cumulative Daily Return.

What Is the Fadda Silver Fund?

The fund introduces a new asset class to the Egyptian capital market. It provides both individual and institutional investors access to silver at competitive market prices through a professionally managed structure.

Portfolio Diversification and Hedging

Beltone designed the fund as a tool for portfolio diversification and hedging against market volatility. The fund targets medium- to long-term investment horizons, according to the company.

Moreover, the fund expands Egypt’s alternative investment landscape by offering exposure to a commodity asset class not previously available through a regulated fund structure in the country.

Subscription Timeline and Access

The subscription window is expected to open following the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. Beltone said further details on the fund’s structure and investment mechanisms will be announced in due course. Terms and conditions apply.

Investors will be able to subscribe through Beltone Securities Brokerage. The company has not yet disclosed the minimum subscription amount or the fund’s target size.

“This milestone reflects Beltone’s commitment to the development of advanced financial products, aimed at broadening investment opportunities and addressing the evolving needs of investors, while contributing to the growth and efficiency of Egypt’s capital markets.”

Context: Egypt’s Capital Market Development

The FRA’s initial approval marks a regulatory milestone for Egypt’s economy and its capital markets. Silver-focused funds are relatively uncommon across emerging markets, and the launch positions Egypt among a limited group of markets offering regulated silver investment vehicles.

Beltone Asset Management operates as part of the broader Beltone Financial group, one of Egypt’s established investment banking and asset management firms. The firm manages a range of mutual funds and investment products listed with the FRA.

Future Outlook

Following the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, Beltone is expected to publish the fund’s full prospectus and operational details. The launch will mark the first time Egyptian retail and institutional investors can gain regulated exposure to silver through a local fund structure. Consequently, market observers will watch subscription volumes closely as an indicator of demand for commodity-linked investment products in Egypt.
