The FortiAIGate NVIDIA integration brings zero-trust security to enterprise AI workloads, the company announced. Fortinet and NVIDIA have collaborated to combine Fortinet’s Security Fabric with NVIDIA’s AI platforms for real-time protection of AI workloads, data, and autonomous agents across data centers and cloud environments.

FortiAIGate is designed for inline deployment between applications and AI models. It provides visibility into AI usage while supporting data sovereignty requirements and delivering high-performance protection with minimal latency. The solution is accelerated by NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and the NVIDIA Dynamo inference-serving framework.

FortiAIGate NVIDIA integration benefits for enterprises

According to Fortinet, the joint solution offers several business benefits. It enables accelerated safe AI runtime by applying security guardrails for large language models (LLMs) without slowing down AI workflows. The solution also supports AI sovereignty through self-hosting deployment modes that keep data within national borders. Additionally, it extends zero-trust security to AI environments, blocking threats like prompt injection attacks and data leakage.

“Enterprises everywhere are racing to adopt AI, and security has become a critical enabler of that innovation. Together with NVIDIA, we’re delivering a solution that helps organizations secure and optimize AI deployments while maintaining performance, controlling costs, and meeting data sovereignty requirements.”

John Whittle, Chief Operating Officer, Fortinet

FortiAIGate also improves operational efficiency by leveraging NVIDIA AI infrastructure. It delivers high-throughput AI security with a smaller hardware footprint and lower energy use compared to CPU-bound solutions. The solution supports scalable multitenant protection using NVIDIA Multi-Instance GPU technology to isolate workloads on the same hardware.

“The accelerating shift toward autonomous AI agents is creating unprecedented demand for secure, high-performance enterprise computing platforms. By integrating its FortiAIGate solution with the full-stack NVIDIA AI platform, Fortinet provides zero-trust security and real-time governance, reducing threat exposure by shortening response times.”

Flexible deployment options for FortiAIGate

FortiAIGate supports flexible deployment across on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and edge environments. It is available as a GPU-powered appliance for data centers, a virtual appliance, or containers on NVIDIA-Certified Systems. This flexibility ensures consistent protection and centralized management regardless of form factor.

The cybersecurity solution is part of Fortinet’s broader strategy to secure AI ecosystems. By combining zero-trust enforcement with artificial intelligence-specific guardrails, FortiAIGate enables organizations to scale AI deployments confidently.

Fortinet stated that this collaboration reinforces both companies’ commitment to secure-by-design innovation. The solution is available now through Fortinet and its partners. More details can be found on Fortinet’s website.
