Gartner Advisory Council members visited Saudi Arabia to explore the Kingdom’s pioneering experience in data, artificial intelligence, and advanced digital services provided by government and private entities. The delegation began their tour with a visit to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), where they met with His Excellency President Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi. During the meeting, discussions focused on the Kingdom’s efforts in data technologies and artificial intelligence, and the roles SDAIA has played in supporting the development of advanced digital government models according to best global practices.

Council members learned about the experience of national digital platforms, foremost among them the comprehensive national application “Tawakkalna,” along with the “Absher” and “Nafath” platforms. These platforms play a pivotal role in providing unified and secure government services, enhancing integration between entities, and facilitating beneficiaries’ access to digital services, contributing to improved user experience, raising operational efficiency levels, and enhancing quality of life in various fields.
