Flight Price Tracking Across Global Routes
Users can specify travel dates and destinations directly in the search conversation to view live flight options. The system aggregates real-time pricing data from more than 300 airlines and booking websites. Furthermore, travelers can activate price tracking alerts by asking the system to monitor specific routes.
When ticket costs change, the service sends automated email updates for the selected itinerary. Google confirmed that flight price tracking within artificial intelligence search is now active in more than 180 countries worldwide.
Hotel Reservations and Partner Integrations
The system also allows users to search for accommodations by stating preferences such as location, amenities, and budget. The interface presents property options alongside customer reviews and key details. Once users select an accommodation, they can proceed using the integrated checkout process.
Transactions finalize through a Continue on Google prompt that connects with travel partners and completes payments via Google Pay. Initial partners include Booking, Choice Hotels International, Expedia, Hilton, Hotels, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Priceline, Trip, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The hotel booking capability is currently rolling out in English for users in the United States, supporting modern tourism demands.

These capabilities shift the role of Google AI Mode toward structured digital assistance. The platform handles multi-step scheduling tasks within a single chat window, reducing the need to visit separate aggregator websites. In addition, customer service inquiries and reservation management remain under the direct control of the partner hotel chains and booking platforms.
Points and Mileage Redemptions
Another addition is the ability to calculate travel costs using airline miles and hotel loyalty points. Travelers can enter specific point balances and routes to check reward availability across eligible airlines. Specifically, Google AI Mode displays the exact mileage balance needed for non-stop flights and participating lodging programs, making apps and search tools more practical for frequent travelers globally.
