ACCIONA has secured a three-year contract to deliver technical train cleaning and housekeeping services for the Haramain High-Speed Railway in Saudi Arabia.
The company will manage operations across several critical railway sites of the Haramain High-Speed Railway. These locations include the Makkah Depot, Madinah Depot, Makkah Facility, Madinah Facility, and King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) station.
Scope of the Cleaning Contract
Under this agreement, the facility service business unit of ACCIONA will maintain cleanliness standards across the network. Meanwhile, the contract aims to support the overall passenger experience at these key transit hubs. This agreement also strengthens the company’s position as a service provider for critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
Operational Route of the Haramain High-Speed Railway
The Haramain High-Speed Railway serves as a major component of the transport network in Saudi Arabia. Specifically, the system enables safe travel at speeds reaching 300 km/h along a 450-kilometer route.
This high-speed line connects the two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah. Furthermore, the route runs through Jeddah, King Abdulaziz International Airport, and King Abdullah Economic City.
