LG Electronics has unveiled its new LG 2026 TV lineup in Saudi Arabia to coincide with the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This release targets the country’s large football fanbase as the national team prepares to compete globally. Consequently, the company aims to capture the growing demand for home entertainment systems.
The new collection features both OLED and QNED models, led by the flagship G6 OLED evo model. Specifically, these smart devices offer high refresh rates and self-lit pixels to improve sports viewing. Furthermore, the flagship model delivers brightness levels exceeding 3500 nits.
Features of the LG 2026 TV lineup
This LG 2026 TV lineup incorporates a variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz to eliminate motion blur. In addition, the integration of the α11 AI Processor Gen3 helps optimize picture quality through artificial intelligence. As a result, fast-moving sports content appears clearer on the screen.
Advanced Audio and Processing Technologies
Sound quality is managed by AI Sound Pro technology, which creates a virtual surround sound environment. Meanwhile, the system isolates dialogue from background crowd noise to make commentary more audible. Additionally, support for Dolby Atmos provides a multi-dimensional audio experience for viewers.
“We have built these TVs so that the experience at home is as close to the stadium as it can be, because in a country where football runs this deep, the screen you watch it on matters.”
Jungho Kim, Managing Director of LG Electronics Saudi Arabia
Smart Platform and Gaming Capabilities
Beyond sports, the LG 2026 TV lineup serves as a home entertainment hub using the webOS smart platform. For interactive entertainment, the screens support NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. Therefore, users can access gaming applications and modern consoles with minimal latency.
Future Outlook for Saudi Football Fans
The launch comes at a strategic time as Saudi Arabia prepares to host the 2034 World Cup. Currently, about half of the Saudi population identifies as football fans. Consequently, local demand for high-performance home displays is expected to rise steadily over the next decade.
Notably, the company confirmed that these displays will be available in various large screen sizes. This variety allows households to choose models that fit their specific living spaces. Ultimately, the technology aims to support the Kingdom’s growing sports culture.
In addition, the integration of smart home features allows these devices to connect with other home appliances. This connectivity helps users manage their home environment directly from their television screens.
