LG Electronics is transforming home entertainment at CES 2026 with the launch of LG Sound Suite, featuring the world’s first soundbar equipped with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology. The modular audio system delivers unprecedented flexibility for creating personalized home theater experiences without complex setup requirements.
Modular Design Offers 27 Configuration Options
The LG Sound Suite centers around the H7 soundbar and works seamlessly with LG’s premium TVs. Users can pair wireless components including M7 and M5 surround speakers and the W7 subwoofer with or without the H7 soundbar, creating 27 possible configurations. This flexibility allows consumers to start small or build a complete 13.1.7-channel home theater system.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect delivers immersive sound that adapts to room layout without complicated installation. When the H7 soundbar serves as the lead device, the system works with any TV via HDMI connection. LG is also bringing this technology to its 2026 premium TV lineup and select 2025 models through software updates.
Advanced AI Processing Powers Enhanced Audio
The H7 soundbar features LG’s α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3, the same chip powering LG’s flagship OLED TVs. This processor uses deep learning and Neural Processing Unit technology to create precise sound reproduction. AI Sound Pro+ up-mixes stereo audio into spatial audio experiences, while AI-powered object separation ensures clear voices, music, and sound effects.
Additional features include Sound Follow, which uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to adjust listening position based on user location. Room Calibration Pro analyzes acoustic characteristics and applies AI processing for balanced, room-filling audio across different content types.
