LG Electronics’ premium wireless TVs certification has been achieved as their wireless TVs have become the first in the world to receive True Wireless Lossless Vision certification from TÜV Rheinland, an independent testing and certification organization. The certification verifies that LG’s wireless TVs deliver visually lossless 4K picture quality without compromising on image performance during wireless video transmission.

The OLED evo W6 and Mini RGB evo MRGB9M models earned the certification after TÜV Rheinland confirmed they preserve color accuracy, image detail, and HDR tone reproduction. The LG OLED evo W6 supports refresh rates of up to 165Hz through wireless transmission, marking a significant step forward in home entertainment technology.

Certified Wireless Performance Standards

TÜV Rheinland established a dedicated test standard to evaluate the wireless TVs certification process, examining key factors including input lag, color accuracy, and gamma tracking. The evaluation confirmed that LG’s wireless TVs maintain accurate color reproduction, fine image detail, and precise HDR tone performance within defined tolerance levels relative to the original input signal.

For consumers, this means streaming films, live sports, and gaming content can be enjoyed wirelessly with the same picture quality previously reserved for hard-wired TV setups. The certification eliminates the visual tradeoffs traditionally associated with wireless video transmission.

The LG OLED evo W6 pairs the certified wireless performance with an ultra-slim design measuring 9 millimeters in thickness. The model comes with a Zero Connect Box that houses all inputs and can be positioned up to 10 meters away from the screen, enabling a cable-free aesthetic that integrates naturally into living spaces.

LG’s Reflection Free Premium technology on the OLED evo W6 minimizes on-screen reflections to preserve contrast, color, and detail even in bright, sun-filled rooms. This allows users to experience the certified lossless picture quality at any time of day or night.

Extended Certification Across Display Technologies

The MRGB9M also received True Wireless Lossless Vision certification, extending certified wireless TVs performance beyond OLED displays to LCD technology. Designed for ultra-large screens and premium viewing environments, the MRGB9M applies OLED-level image processing precision to advanced LCD technology, delivering exceptional color accuracy and contrast control.

The MRGB9M is available in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 86-inch screen sizes, expanding LG’s certified wireless offering across a broader range of premium TV options. This move establishes a new reference point for premium TVs that combine design flexibility with independently verified picture integrity.

Market Availability and Future Outlook

Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, said the certification confirms that LG’s premium TVs can deliver award-winning picture quality and wireless freedom simultaneously. The achievement reflects LG’s commitment to enhancing the viewing experience and improving everyday living.

Availability of the LG OLED evo W6 and LG Mini RGB evo MRGB9M may vary by market. The certification spans both OLED and Mini RGB models, signaling LG’s broader push into wireless display technology for premium home entertainment.
