The new Logitech Mobi Fold has been launched as the company’s first ultra-portable foldable mouse designed for mobile professionals. This compact device folds to nearly half its size to fit into pockets or bags. Consequently, it aims to provide a comfortable alternative to standard laptop trackpads during travel.

Features of the Logitech Mobi Fold

The device features a unique folding mechanism that automatically powers on when opened and turns off when folded. Furthermore, it reduces muscle strain by 22% compared to a laptop trackpad. Users can navigate documents using adaptive touch scrolling and two customizable buttons on the touch panel.

These buttons can be configured via the Logi Options+ software apps to trigger specific shortcuts. Meanwhile, the Logitech Mobi Fold includes quiet-click technology to reduce noise in shared workspaces. It also features an internal hinge tested to withstand 15 years of daily use.

Addressing the Mobile Productivity Gap

According to research conducted by the company, 72% of professionals own a mouse, but only 26% use one in public. The study indicates that the bulk and weight of traditional mice prevent users from carrying them. As a result, many travelers rely on restrictive trackpads that slow down their daily workflows.

“With Mobi Fold, we have engineered a frictionless transition between the dedicated desk and working on the move. By delivering a comfortable, productive experience that collapses to nearly half its size, and reduces muscle strain by 22% compared to a laptop trackpad, we ensure a professional setup is a constant, not a compromise.”

Technical Specifications and Connectivity

The Logitech Mobi Fold connects with up to three devices simultaneously using Bluetooth technology. Specifically, it supports multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux. This wide compatibility allows users to switch between different computers and tablets.

For power management, a quick one-minute charge provides up to 22 hours of continuous use. Additionally, a full charge keeps the device operational for up to 30 days. The mouse is also the first input device from the manufacturer to receive Google Fast Pair certification.

Environmental Design and Sustainability

The exterior of the device is wrapped in a dust-resistant silicone sleeve and has been drop-tested for durability. Moreover, an integrated artificial intelligence model helps prevent accidental clicks when the device is folded. These physical protections ensure the hardware survives the rigors of travel.

In terms of environmental impact, the product incorporates certified post-consumer recycled plastic. Specifically, the graphite model contains up to 36% recycled plastic, while the internal magnets use 100% recycled rare earth metals. Finally, the packaging is made from FSC-certified paper to support resource conservation.
