ALTAWKILAT Motorsport has announced the launch of Motor Mania GT, a Saudi-promoted GT race with regional reach.
This new series will run as an official support series to the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship. Notably, the event operates under the sporting regulations of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF).
The launch of Motor Mania GT marks another step in the company’s plan to build a broader motorsport platform across Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Consequently, this initiative creates more opportunities for drivers, teams, and enthusiasts to take part in competitive circuit racing. The organizers aim to provide a professionally organized environment for all participants.

The Motor Mania GT Race Format
The race has been developed as an accessible entry point into GT racing while delivering competitive wheel-to-wheel action. Specifically, each day of track activity will include a 25-minute practice session, a 25-minute qualifying session, and a 35-minute race. Furthermore, all races will start under a rolling start format, and participating drivers must hold a valid SAMF race licence.
Participating Car Brands and Grid Details
This year’s format will feature a 12-car, multi-class grid. Meanwhile, the competition will bring together vehicles from prominent manufacturers, including Ferrari, Radical, McLaren, and Ginetta. This diverse lineup gives drivers the opportunity to compete in a structured race weekend.

Official 2026 Race Calendar
The inaugural season features two main events scheduled at prominent regional circuits. First, the opening event will take place from October 2 to October 3, 2026, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Following this, the second event is scheduled for December 7 to December 8, 2026, at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.
Expanding Regional Motorsport Opportunities
Mohammed Abduljawad, Chairman and CEO of ALTAWKILAT, stated that the series is an important step in building a stronger motorsport platform in the region. He noted that GT racing combines performance, competition, and entertainment. In addition, he stated that this format gives more drivers the chance to experience racing in a professional environment.
“For us, Motor Mania GT is about opening new doors for the region. By bringing GT racing alongside the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, we are giving drivers, teams and fans another way to engage with motorsport.”
