PangaeaX has launched a tech talent initiative aimed at developing and validating data and technology capabilities across the UAE. The initiative uses challenge-based performance assessment to help organizations identify skilled professionals and improve hiring accuracy.
The program operates through two platforms: CompeteX and AuthenX. CompeteX hosts live data challenges that assess how professionals analyze and solve real business problems. AuthenX verifies individual skills through AI-led interviews and portfolio screening.
Addressing a Gap in Digital Hiring
Organizations across finance, retail, healthcare, and energy sectors are accelerating their digital transformation programs. However, many struggle to verify whether candidates can deliver practical results. Traditional interviews often fail to measure applied technical capability, leaving businesses exposed to misaligned investments.
PangaeaX said its challenge-based authentication model offers a more dependable mechanism to evaluate real skill. The company stated this approach improves talent placement and enhances return on investment for digital initiatives.
How the Tech Talent Initiative Works
The tech talent initiative supports the UAE’s national digital agenda through three core objectives. These include empowering data and technology specialists, providing companies with a reliable way to identify skilled problem-solvers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
PangaeaX integrates artificial intelligence into its AuthenX platform to conduct skill authentication. The platform screens portfolios and conducts AI-led interviews to produce a verified profile of each candidate’s capabilities.
“Many businesses today are struggling with what to do with the data they hold, but real transformation comes from people who can turn that data into action. This initiative enables companies to connect with individuals who have proven their capability, not just on paper, but through practical, challenge-based performance.”

Standout Performer Highlights Platform Value
Satendra Kushwaha, a top performer in recent CompeteX challenges, demonstrated the platform’s practical value. He achieved a strong approval rate by focusing on accuracy, careful review, and continuous improvement rather than speed.
Kushwaha said he credits his success to consistency, patience, and a commitment to learning from feedback. He described CompeteX as “a structured and engaging platform that helps individuals grow their skills and challenge themselves through meaningful work.”
Expansion Plans and Ecosystem Growth
PangaeaX plans to expand its ecosystem through industry-aligned challenges, university and corporate partnerships, and upskilling programs. The company was established in 2021 by CEO Jadd Elliot Dib and currently serves a community of over 50,000 data professionals.
The platform’s product suite includes OutsourceX for verified freelancing, AuthenX for skill authentication, CompeteX for challenge competitions, and ConnectX for community networking. PangaeaX said it envisions a UAE where businesses can access a challenge-verified talent pool and where data professionals gain continuous opportunities to demonstrate their abilities.
