The Riyadh Air Hafawa Lounge has been completed at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh by ACCIONA Cultura. This premium facility represents a significant step in the launch of Saudi Arabia’s new national airline in the tourism sector.
Spanning 2,000 square meters, the lounge provides seating for up to 370 guests. The project was designed by the design studio Yabu Pushelberg, while ACCIONA Cultura led the technical design, project management, and execution of interior architectural works.
In addition, the facility was designed to meet LEED Gold certification requirements. This focus ensures high environmental performance, energy efficiency, and guest wellbeing during their stay at the airport. The project demonstrates how modern aviation spaces can integrate sustainable practices without compromising on comfort.
