The Saudi Data and AI Authority Academy launched eight new SDAIA training programs and bootcamps yesterday as part of its July 2026 summer initiative.
This initiative aims to build national capabilities in data and artificial intelligence. Consequently, the programs will equip both professionals and beginners with advanced skills in emerging technologies.
Notably, the launch coincides with the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026 in Saudi Arabia. The academy designed these tracks to prepare national talent. Meanwhile, the initiative supports the broader goals of education and training in advanced technological fields.
Overview of the Summer Initiative
The summer initiative focuses on practical applications of modern technology. Specifically, the academy offers structured learning paths that address current market demands by focusing on practical applications of modern technology. As a result, participants can choose pathways that match their current technical expertise.
Specialized Tracks for Professionals
For professionals, the academy offers five specialized training tracks. These include modern data engineering for AI systems and computer vision for developers. Furthermore, professionals can study AI systems and agent development, generative AI solution development, and advanced AI agent systems engineering.
These advanced tracks aim to help developers build solutions using modern tools. In addition, the curriculum covers the integration of machine learning models into existing enterprise systems. This technical training helps local developers compete in the global economy and business sectors.
SDAIA Training Programs for Beginners
The academy also designed beginner-focused courses within the SDAIA training programs to introduce foundational concepts. These courses include enhancing productivity and improving workflows with AI. Additionally, beginners can enroll in prompt engineering, the responsible use of AI, and generative coding.
These introductory courses require no prior programming experience. However, they provide the necessary skills to transition into more complex technical subjects. The academy structured these lessons to help participants build a strong foundation before advancing to specialized AI topics.
Registration and Future Outlook
SDAIA invited interested individuals to register for the bootcamps through the Athka X digital platform. The platform provides complete details regarding the schedules and prerequisites for each course. Therefore, applicants can select the programs that best fit their professional development goals.
This initiative represents a continuous effort by the authority to expand local technical expertise. By offering these SDAIA training programs, the academy aims to support the national digital transformation. Ultimately, these efforts will help establish a sustainable pipeline of local tech talent.
