A modern security camera system was presented by the National Center for Security Operations during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh. The exhibition took place at the Ministry of Interior pavilion, where officials demonstrated tools designed to convert visual surveillance feeds into actionable data. In addition, the presentation highlighted how digital solutions assist personnel in monitoring operational environments in real time.
Advancing Surveillance with the Security Camera System
According to reporting by SPA (English), the security camera system uses direct video and image analysis to assist surveillance teams across critical sectors. Furthermore, the automated interpretation of video footage allows operators to identify incidents rapidly. This technological framework directly supports public safety monitoring across multiple administrative zones.

Integration with Unified Operations Centers
The smart surveillance deployment connects directly to the Unified Security Operations Centers (911) operating across Saudi Arabia. Specifically, these command hubs serve Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province. The infrastructure represents an initiative executed by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Quality of Life Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
Meanwhile, the integration ensures that incoming visual feeds match centralized incident response requirements. By consolidating data streams into 911 control rooms, dispatch teams can coordinate resources during emergency situations. The system also assists in maintaining situational awareness for ground units operating in major urban areas.
Field Response Capabilities
During the event, the center also displayed tools connected to its field response network. These digital platforms focus on increasing the speed of field intervention and raising decision accuracy during active security cases. Consequently, field officers receive verified incident parameters before reaching operational sites, which improves general incident handling efficiency.
Furthermore, technical teams demonstrated how secure communications and digital dashboards assist emergency dispatchers. Reliable digital integration prevents communication delays between command posts and mobile units. Such operational upgrades align with broader national initiatives aiming to modernise institutional security management.
Participation Details at LEAP 2026
The Ministry of Interior participated at the conference as a strategic sponsor under the theme Technological Solutions for a Secure Nation. Held from August 31 to September 3, 2026, the four-day technology gathering took place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Centre in Malham, located north of Riyadh. Visitors observed multiple operational exhibits detailing digital capabilities developed for public safety and administrative efficiency.
