Snap Maher Academy, a training program designed to develop marketing talent in Saudi Arabia, began its first cohort on May 11, 2026. The initiative brings together 50 selected participants from leading organizations to advance the Kingdom’s digital marketing ecosystem.

The academy selected participants from Saudi Tourism Authority, Riyadh Air, stc Group, Zain Group, TheChefz, Jahez, TenX, and the Ministry of Culture. Selection was based on participants’ roles in shaping the Kingdom’s marketing and digital economy. “Snap Maher Academy reflects our long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia’s digital economy and the marketers shaping it,” said Abdulla Alhammadi, Managing Director, KSA, Snap Inc.

Four-Week Training Curriculum

The program delivers a comprehensive four-week curriculum comprising 16 hours of training and culminating in certification. The curriculum equips participants with tools and frameworks to transition from short-term, conversion-focused execution to structured, full-funnel strategies that drive sustained growth. By strengthening core capabilities across the marketing ecosystem, the program enables advertisers to unlock greater impact across both awareness and conversion.

Snap’s regional experts deliver the academy curriculum across marketing, account management, and creative strategy. The program combines practical learning with real-world application, ensuring participants gain actionable insights for immediate implementation within their organizations. This approach reflects a focus on measurable marketing outcomes tied to business results.

Full-Funnel Marketing Strategy Focus

Growth in today’s market is not driven by isolated campaigns but through full-funnel strategies connecting discovery to decision-making. Alhammadi stated, “On Snapchat, these moments happen every day, and brands need to show up in ways that are both relevant and measurable.” The academy equips partners with the capabilities to implement these strategies, unlocking stronger business outcomes while building a more advanced marketing ecosystem in the Kingdom.

The training initiative positions itself as a foundational step in building performance-driven marketing in Saudi Arabia. This aligns with broader goals to support the Kingdom’s shift toward measurable digital marketing and contribute to economic development. The exclusivity of the first cohort underscores the curated nature of the program, positioning it as essential for regional talent development.

Snap Maher Academy and Future Cohorts

As the first cohort of its kind, Snap Maher Academy reinforces Snapchat’s role in developing regional talent and supporting the next generation of marketers. The academy contributes to building a more resilient and competitive digital economy in Saudi Arabia while laying the foundation for scaling the program across future cohorts. This expansion strategy reflects Snap’s long-term investment in the regional marketing sector and commitment to workforce development aligned with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals.
