Starlink Kuwait services are now officially available through Sama X, the technology subsidiary of Al Ghanim Industries (Qutayba Yousef Al Ghanim Group), following the completion of regulatory approvals from Kuwait’s telecommunications authorities.
Sama X holds a global authorized distributor license for Starlink products. The company said customers in Kuwait can now access a satellite internet network that delivers fiber-comparable speeds without requiring traditional ground-based infrastructure.
Starlink Kuwait Network Specifications
The Starlink network operates through a constellation of more than 10,000 low-Earth orbit satellites launched since 2020. That figure exceeds the combined total of satellites operated by all other providers. The network’s total capacity currently stands at approximately 450 terabits per second and serves more than 10 million users worldwide.
The system delivers latency between 20 and 40 milliseconds. Download speeds reach more than 300 megabits per second, supporting real-time applications, remote operations, and data-intensive workloads on land and at sea.
Subscription Plans and Local Support
Sama X offers basic and advanced telecommunications subscription tiers in Kuwait. Advanced plans include data priority and higher service quality. The company provides local delivery, installation, and 24-hour Arabic and English technical support through a dedicated call center reachable at 22055736.
Customers can purchase Starlink services directly from Sama X or through Xcite, Kuwait’s largest electronics retail chain, via its website or physical stores across the country.

The service targets a broad range of sectors. Offshore oil and gas facilities, maritime vessel fleets, and remote industrial sites represent primary use cases where traditional ground infrastructure is limited. Moreover, hospitals, schools, research institutions, emergency response teams, financial institutions, and banking service centers also stand to benefit from stable, continuous connectivity.
Individual consumers can use the service for high-speed streaming, advanced digital applications, continuous cloud access, outdoor activities, and gaming. Small and large businesses on land also form a key customer segment.
