This achievement represents the sixth triumph for the manufacturer at the French endurance race.

A crowd of 350,105 spectators witnessed the event, which served as the third round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship. Consequently, the team demonstrated strong performance despite starting from modest grid positions following the Hyperpole session.
Race Details and Driver Performance
Kamui Kobayashi, who serves as both Team Principal and driver for vehicle No. 7, commented on the challenging nature of the race. “It was very challenging for us, but we never gave up,” Kobayashi said. He noted that the crew had waited a long time for this victory after previously securing multiple second-place finishes.
The Toyota Racing Le Mans squad faced early difficulties, including a puncture that impacted their initial progress. However, the engineers and pit crew managed the situation effectively to keep the vehicle competitive. Specifically, the drivers completed 381 laps over the 24-hour duration to secure the win by a margin of 10.913 seconds.
