Among the early nominations are some of the world’s most iconic and innovative venue projects, including Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Spain, Qatar’s pioneering modular Stadium 974, Sporting CP’s next-generation José Alvalade 2.0 in Portugal, Serbia’s flagship Belgrade National Stadium, Egypt’s New Capital Stadium, Chile’s renovated Universidad Católica Stadium – Claro Arena, and the Czech Republic’s redeveloped Nove Bazaly Stadium.

Winners and two runners-up in each category will be announced during an exclusive Awards Gala Ceremony at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences on April 1, 2026, marking the culmination of WSAS 2026.
Organizations across the sports and venue ecosystem—including clubs, venue owners and operators, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, technology providers, and public authorities—have until the extended deadline of February 10 to submit their projects via the official awards website.
