The inaugural edition of ACHEMA Middle East has been rescheduled to take place from 11 to 13 October 2027 in Riyadh. Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia and DECHEMA made the decision following a strategic review of regional business conditions. The event will be hosted at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.
New Dates for ACHEMA Middle East
The decision to move the exhibition to 2027 follows detailed discussions with exhibitors and key industry partners. This scheduling adjustment aims to secure stronger international participation and provide a larger platform for technology exchange. The organizers stated that the new timeline allows international brands and specialized country pavilions to prepare their participation more effectively. The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has provided full support for the rescheduled event.
Strategic Alignment with Vision 2030
The event remains aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the long-term industrial transformation goals of the Kingdom. Organized by Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia and powered by DECHEMA, ACHEMA Middle East aims to establish a foundation for process industries across the region. This initiative supports local manufacturing growth and economic diversification efforts.
The exhibition serves as a gateway to the expanding industrial sector in Saudi Arabia. It connects international solution providers with project owners, engineering contractors, and government stakeholders to facilitate market entry and supply chain partnerships.
Core Exhibition Themes
The event will feature a specialized exhibition and conference program centered on six core themes. These include process innovation, pharma innovation, lab innovation, digital innovation, green innovation, and energy innovation.
Within these themes, participants will explore advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and industrial digitalization. Discussions will also cover pharmaceutical technologies, laboratory automation, hydrogen, carbon management, and clean energy solutions.
Future Outlook for Process Industries
The organizers aim to attract up to 400 local and international brands to the inaugural event. The venue near King Khalid International Airport will provide modern facilities and efficient logistics for international attendees. The event will also feature conferences accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). These sessions will bring together global experts and technology leaders to discuss emerging technical challenges and future opportunities across various industrial sectors.
“Following consultation with our exhibitors, partners, government stakeholders and industry leaders, we have made the decision to move ACHEMA Middle East to October 2027.
