The Almosafer ERP migration initiative will transition the travel firm’s core operational systems to the RISE with SAP platform hosted on Amazon Web Services. This move supports the Riyadh-based company’s expanding digital capabilities across its diverse travel portfolio while aligning with long-term national tourism targets.

Operational Integration via Cloud Architecture

Through this deployment, Almosafer will shift its on-premises infrastructure to a managed cloud environment. The unified platform integrates enterprise data across business divisions, introducing automation and predictive tools across procurement, finance, and resource management.

The shift incorporates business artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to optimize forecasting and customer personalization. Furthermore, the modern architecture improves data visibility, which allows internal teams to make faster, data-driven decisions during daily operations.

Alignment with National Tourism Targets

The digital overhaul comes as Saudi Arabia works toward attracting 150 million annual visitors under Saudi Vision 2030. Almosafer operates multiple dedicated travel units, including consumer booking platforms, corporate travel management, destination management via Discover Saudi, and Hajj and Umrah services through Mawasim.

“This transformation empowers us with enhanced agility, resilience, and data intelligence, ensuring we are fully equipped to support Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding travel and tourism ecosystem in line with Vision 2030. It provides a high-performance digital backbone necessary to manage the trajectory toward 150 million annual visitors, ensuring our operations can scale seamlessly to meet the national ambition.”

Execution of the Almosafer ERP Migration

Completing the Almosafer ERP migration allows the company to build on its ongoing technical collaborations with both enterprise software provider SAP and cloud provider AWS. In addition, the underlying infrastructure strengthens system security and reliability across all digital touchpoints.

“RISE with SAP will provide Almosafer with a unified cloud platform that connects core business processes, data, and AI capabilities across the organisation. By moving its ERP landscape to the cloud with AWS, Almosafer is establishing a scalable digital foundation that can support continued innovation and operational resilience as Saudi Arabia’s travel and tourism sector expands under Vision 2030.”
