Bupa Arabia announced the launch of Bupa Padel 2026 in Jeddah with the support of the Saudi Padel Federation. The tournament starts on August 27 and runs through August 29 at Padel District, featuring 32 corporate teams with two players per team. Organizers expect more than 300 guests and visitors to attend the opening stage, which incorporates exhibition matches with international professional players alongside corporate hospitality services.
Expansion Across Saudi Cities
The competition operates under the theme Beyond the Court, combining athletic matches with corporate networking opportunities. Following the opening round in Jeddah, the schedule moves to Al Khobar from September 10 to 12. Matches then head to Riyadh from October 1 to 3, before concluding the series with the Bupa Padel Super Cup.
Corporate participation connects professionals across diverse sectors, including healthcare and business leadership. The initiative provides an active environment for business leaders and company representatives to interact outside traditional office settings while promoting physical activity across the kingdom.
Evolution of the Bupa Padel 2026 Initiative
The tournament originated in 2024 as a dedicated competition for corporate teams across Saudi Arabia. During its first two seasons in 2024 and 2025, matches took place in Riyadh, Jeddah, the Eastern Province, and AlUla. The 2025 season culminated with the Super Cup at the Red Sea destination.
Participation numbers increased over successive editions. Specifically, more than 140 teams participated in the inaugural 2024 season, and more than 160 Bupa Arabia clients joined the 2025 competition. The ongoing growth of Bupa Padel 2026 reflects sustained interest in team-based athletics and workplace wellbeing.
Alignment with National Health Goals
The sporting program aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by encouraging regular physical activity and supporting public health. Through competitive athletics, the initiative promotes healthier lifestyles among employees while reinforcing links between corporate entities and wellness programs.
Bupa Arabia continues to expand its broader health portfolio, integrating physical events with digital healthcare solutions. The organization operates specialized medical services and workplace clinics, alongside digital health services, to support corporate wellness and preventive care in Saudi Arabia.
