DAN tourism partnerships took center stage at the PIF Private Sector Forum 2026, as the agri, eco, and adventure tourism company signed two strategic Memoranda of Understanding aimed at revolutionizing tourism experiences and agricultural production in Saudi Arabia. The agreements, signed on February 10, 2026, in Riyadh, mark a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s efforts to diversify its tourism sector and strengthen local economic growth.
The signing ceremony took place at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center during the third edition of the PIF Private Sector Forum, which ran from February 9-10, 2026. DAN, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, formalized partnerships with DRB Arabia and Fresh On Table, two companies specializing in luxury tourism experiences and agricultural technology respectively.
DAN Tourism Partnerships Drive Community-Centered Development
The first MoU was signed with DRB Arabia, a company renowned for developing and operating luxury camps that blend adventure, comfort, and sustainable experiences. Under this agreement, DRB Arabia will activate and operate the Community Centre at Tuaja Al-Ahsa, ensuring that all activities and events align with the region’s cultural identity and vision. The partnership also establishes preliminary requirements for exploring additional collaboration opportunities across DAN’s other initiatives in the future.
Abdulrahman Abaalkhail, CEO of DAN, and Ahmad Arab, Founder and Chairman of DRB Arabia, signed the agreement, which represents a concrete example of empowering promising local companies in the tourism and entertainment sector. The collaboration aims to deliver authentic visitor experiences that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Al-Ahsa region.
Farm-to-Table Innovation Through Technology
The second MoU was signed with Fresh On Table, an agritech platform focused on supporting local farms and advancing sustainability. This partnership will establish and operate a technology platform connecting agricultural products directly with the hospitality market, including hotels, restaurants, and cafés. The initiative supports a comprehensive “farm-to-table” model, enabling farm owners to link directly with local market demand while ensuring the supply of fresh, high-quality produce to hospitality operators.
Abdulrahman Abaalkhail and Atul Chopra, Founder and CEO of Fresh On Table, formalized this agreement, which aims to enhance supply chain efficiency for the hospitality sector while placing farmers at the heart of the ecosystem. The platform will create new opportunities for local communities and entrepreneurs while supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
