The luxury car manufacturer DARTZ Motorz is currently building a real-world version of the virtual HVY Nightshark, known as the DARTZ Nightshark vehicle.
This custom-built machine is being created for an undisclosed client who commissioned the project for several million dollars. Consequently, the vehicle is now entering its final production stages in Riga, Latvia.
The development of the DARTZ Nightshark vehicle represents a rare crossover between the virtual world and the real automotive industry. Specifically, the project brings a digital design from Grand Theft Auto Online into physical reality. The manufacturer is handcrafting the entire body from steel and metal.
The Origin of the DARTZ Nightshark vehicle
The history of this design dates back to August 2017, when Rockstar Games first introduced the Nightshark to its online multiplayer game. Although the vehicle was never officially licensed by DARTZ, players quickly noticed design similarities to existing DARTZ models. These models included the Kombat, Black Shark, and Black Snake. Nearly nine years later, the relationship between the virtual and real worlds has come full circle.
Project Final Boss Details
Leonard Yankelovich, the founder and president of DARTZ, named the custom build “PROJECT FINAL BOSS.” He stated that the vehicle is not a simple replica of the digital model. Instead, the company is building what the virtual pixels were trying to represent.
“Usually, games take reality and make it more extreme. But this time, reality came back with a purchase order. The client didn’t ask us to copy the pixels. He asked us to build what those pixels were trying to become.”

Yankelovich added that copying the pixels would be easy and cheap. He emphasized that the company does not look backward, describing the car as what comes after reaching the final level of a gaming experience.
Secrecy and Handcrafted Production
While the technical specifications of the DARTZ Nightshark vehicle remain confidential, the company confirmed it is being built by hand. Currently, the vehicle has reached the final polishing and finishing stages at the company’s facility in Riga. Furthermore, the identity of the buyer remains completely secret, as the company declined to reveal if the client is an individual or an organization.
Miami Unveiling and Launch Timeline
The public debut of the vehicle is scheduled to take place in Miami, Florida. This event will coincide with the launch week of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is scheduled for November 19, 2026. Meanwhile, DARTZ clarified that this project is entirely independent of Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. There is no official partnership or licensing agreement between the companies.
Yankelovich explained that Miami is the correct location for the unveiling because of its association with speed and luxury. Ultimately, this project represents a rare transition of a virtual vehicle from digital pixels to physical production.
