Dell Technologies has introduced new capabilities for the Dell AI Factory, its joint platform with NVIDIA, designed to help enterprises move from AI experiments to production outcomes. The company announced the updates at Dell Technologies World in Dubai on May 20, 2026.
More than 5,000 customers have already deployed the Dell AI Factory. The new additions include deskside agentic AI solutions, data platform enhancements, and expanded infrastructure options.
Deskside Agentic AI for Local Deployment
The new Dell Deskside Agentic AI solution allows enterprises to build and run autonomous agents locally. Data never leaves the device, which addresses concerns about data sovereignty and cloud costs. The solution is powered by Dell workstations and NVIDIA NemoClaw, and supported by end-to-end Dell services.
According to Dell, organizations can break even versus public cloud API costs in as little as three months. The solution targets software engineering teams, academic researchers, and regulated industries.
AI-Ready Data Platform Enhancements
The Dell AI Data Platform now includes faster indexing of billions of files and up to 6x faster SQL query performance. New integrations with NVIDIA Omniverse and the Dell Data Analytics Engine, powered by Starburst, bring GPU-accelerated analytics to enterprise AI. The Dell ObjectScale X7700 appliance offers 45% more HDD capacity than its predecessor.
These updates aim to turn enterprise data into AI fuel by improving data discovery, preparation, and analytics across the full lifecycle.
Next-Generation Infrastructure
Dell introduced PowerRack, a fully integrated rack-scale system that combines compute, networking, and storage. The company is adding PowerFlex to its Exascale Storage for unified block, file, and object support. The Pro Precision 7 R1 is a compact 1U workstation with NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs.
The PowerCool CDU C7000 is the first rack-mount cooling unit designed for the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform. These infrastructure additions are built for modern computing workloads.
Expanded Partner Ecosystem
Dell announced collaborations with Google, Hugging Face, OpenAI, Palantir, Reflection, SpaceXAI, and ServiceNow. Google is bringing Gemini 3 Flash models on Dell PowerEdge servers for on-premises AI. Hugging Face provides curated open-weight models optimized for Dell infrastructure. OpenAI is integrating Codex with the Dell AI Data Platform. Palantir’s Foundry and AIP platform will run on-premises with Dell hardware.
The new Dell AI Ecosystem Program gives software providers a structured path to validate their solutions on Dell infrastructure. Security solutions from CrowdStrike, Fortanix, and F5 are also included.

Availability Timeline
Dell Deskside Agentic AI solutions are available now. Data platform advancements will arrive in Q2 2026. The Data Analytics Engine for NVIDIA Blackwell and Vera will be available in Q1 2027. PowerRack for compute is available now; networking versions arrive in September 2026; storage versions in 2H 2026. The Pro Precision 7 R1 launches in July 2026. PowerCool CDU C7000 will be available in Q3 2026.
