PowerMax systems handle demanding enterprise workloads including large-scale Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and Epic deployments. The new PowerMaxOS 10.4 accelerates performance while reducing total cost of ownership for the PowerMax 2500 and 8500 arrays through a new node-pair configuration.

PowerMaxOS 10.4 simplifies the migration from virtual machines to container platforms through seamless integrations with VMware and Red Hat OpenShift. Customers can migrate VMware virtual machines up to 10 times faster using array-based XCOPY technology and the Red Hat Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV), based on Dell’s March 2026 testing.
Enhanced REST API support enables up to 7 times faster storage cluster provisioning for OpenShift Container Platforms (OCP). These capabilities help IT professionals and developers focus on application development rather than infrastructure management tasks.
