HITEK AI has launched CONDTEK, a solution designed to automatically create a verified digital asset register for building owners and managers.
The Dubai-headquartered company, which is part of the Farnek Group, developed the tool to convert manual building surveys into digital records. Consequently, this system aims to replace traditional manual audits that typically take weeks to complete.
Establishing a Digital Asset Register
The tool converts manual building surveys into a digital asset register to save time and reduce operational costs. Specifically, field technicians can capture an asset by taking four or five photographs and adding a voice note in any language. The system then uses artificial intelligence to identify, classify, and grade the condition of each asset within minutes.
Furthermore, the tool assigns a critical rating and recommends necessary maintenance tasks. Although manual capture and snagging work remains offline, the assessment report is generated automatically on the same day.
Survey Highlights Accuracy Issues
The launch comes after a survey published in the SFG20 State of FM Report 2025. Notably, the survey revealed that only 9% of facilities management professionals believed their asset registers were fully accurate. In addition, 37% of respondents stated their registers were at best 50% accurate, with many still relying on spreadsheets.
As a result, many organizations manage critical asset data through disconnected systems. This lack of accurate data often leads to reactive and more expensive maintenance strategies.
Automated Capture and Verification
“Without reliable data regarding asset condition, maintenance remains reactive and consequently, more costly,” said Javeria Aijaz, Managing Director of HITEK AI. She stated that the tool provides owners and operators with a single, accurate source of data. Every record can be reviewed and approved by a supervisor before entering the live system.
Moreover, the solution runs on the Maestro platform, which manages the asset from its current condition through to retirement. This ensures that the same asset record flows consistently through every stage of the lifecycle.
Integration with Maintenance Platforms
This verified digital asset register then integrates with the CAFMTEK platform to drive planned maintenance strategies. Specifically, the system connects to building management systems and smart meters to deliver fault detection and predictive maintenance. Meanwhile, the POWERTEK solution records consumption against asset conditions to identify energy waste.
The company is ISO 42001 certified, which ensures the use of ethical artificial intelligence across its technology stack. Consequently, the verified data flows directly into maintenance planning, energy optimization, and replacement scheduling.
