The company selected Ciena for its optical networking technology to deliver resilient and low-latency infrastructure for customers across the Middle East.

Technical Specifications of the DWDM network

To support this network build, e& UAE is utilizing Ciena’s Reconfigurable Line System (RLS) and Waveserver platform. These systems are equipped with WaveLogic 6 Extreme (WL6e) 1.6Tb/s coherent optics. Additionally, Ciena’s Navigator Network Control Suite provides end-to-end network visibility and automation, which are essential for modern data-driven networks.

The deployment of this DWDM network utilizes these hardware and software components to ensure efficient data transport. By integrating these systems, the operator can manage high-capacity workloads while maintaining operational efficiency across its regional footprint.
