Abbott has launched its latest continuous glucose monitoring system, the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus, in Saudi Arabia.
This release aims to assist individuals managing diabetes by providing real-time glucose readings directly to their smartphones. Consequently, users can track how food, exercise, and medication affect their health.

Features of the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus
The FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor is the smallest sensor developed by the company to date. Notably, it offers an extended wear time of up to 15 days, which requires only six sensors every three months. This design allows users to monitor their glucose levels discreetly and easily.
In addition, the system is approved for use by individuals aged two and older, including pregnant women. This broad approval helps more patients access necessary care. Meanwhile, the device integrates with a dedicated mobile application to display real-time data.
