Frieda He Chief Procurement Officer appointment was announced by Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure solutions, on May 11, 2026. He will lead Vertiv’s global procurement organization with responsibility for supply chain resilience, cost optimization, and supplier quality across the company’s portfolio of power and thermal management solutions for data centers, communications networks, and industrial applications.

He brings nearly two decades of global procurement and supply chain leadership experience in the automotive and electrification sectors. From December 2023 to March 2026, she served as Chief Procurement Officer at Polestar, where she oversaw more than $3 billion in annual global spend across direct and indirect materials, supplier quality, R&D programs, cost management, and real estate operations.

Experience in Supply Chain Management

Prior to joining Polestar, He held senior positions at Volvo Cars, including vice president and head of global propulsion and sustainability procurement. In that role, she managed a portfolio exceeding $9 billion in annual spend and led the company’s transformation toward electric vehicle manufacturing.

Her professional background includes managing supply chains through global disruptions, strengthening supplier capabilities, advancing sustainability and regulatory compliance, and supporting major structural transactions. Early in her career, she worked in procurement and supply chain roles across China and the Asia-Pacific region, developing expertise in global sourcing and cost engineering.

He holds bachelor’s degrees in general studies and business from Northeast Normal University in China and an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford.
