Level Infinite has announced a new Honor of Kings update featuring a collaboration with the Japanese anime series DAN DA DAN. The crossover event introduces exclusive themed skins, limited-time activities, and character adjustments to the mobile game. Consequently, players can access these new features starting today through August 31, 2026.
The Honor of Kings update and Anime Collaboration Details
The collaboration brings characters from the supernatural anime series into the multiplayer online battle arena. Specifically, players can unlock themed skins for several heroes through in-game events and draws. For instance, the Daji Momo skin is redeemable at the event shop, while the Lam Okarun skin is available through a wish event.
This Honor of Kings update introduces several limited-time events running until August 31, 2026. Players can participate in the Investigation Event to explore virtual UFO sites and haunted locations. Meanwhile, the Spiritual Power Awakening event starting August 7 allows players to complete challenges to earn redemption coins.
In-Game Events and Redemption Rewards
Players can use earned redemption coins to unlock various collaboration rewards. Notably, the Mozi Jiji skin becomes available via a draw event starting August 7. Additionally, players can obtain the Turbo Granny minion skin using one Honor Crystal during the event period.
Another event running from August 14 to August 31 offers the Chiquitita Spriteling costume. Players must remain active in the game to earn lucky draw tokens for this reward. Furthermore, a new Flowborn collaboration headgear will become obtainable starting August 20 through a collection event.
Mid-Season Hero Balance Adjustments
Aside from the collaboration, the Honor of Kings update delivers significant balance changes to multiple heroes. For example, the hero Ao’yin now experiences increased casting speed scaling with attack speed. Meanwhile, Zilong receives adjustments to his skill range, damage output, and ultimate ability mechanics.
Furthermore, Yang Jian’s long-range damage mechanics have been modified to prevent triggering his special form at full energy. Arthur’s first skill now allows dashing without a target and can be aimed in designated directions. In addition, heroes like Cai Yan, Dun, Wuyan, and Zhuangzi received fine-tuned skill values.
Future Outlook for the MOBA Title
Developed by TiMi Studio Group, the game continues to expand its global player base. In 2025, the title surpassed 260 million combined monthly active users worldwide. Therefore, these regular content updates and anime partnerships remain central to the publisher’s strategy for maintaining player engagement.
