Boston Consulting Group’s Jeel Tamooh program entered its 8th year on May 6, 2026, bringing together over 150 participants for a full-day launch event in Riyadh. The program, designed to cultivate future leaders equipped with skills and professional networks, has served more than 850 students since its inception in 2019.
The 8th cohort reflects balanced representation, with 50 percent male and 50 percent female participants. This year’s edition, themed “Where Your Ambition Shapes,” introduced enhanced sessions guiding participants from understanding global shifts to converting ambition into concrete career plans. Nicola Di Menno, Principal at BCG Riyadh, welcomed attendees alongside a video message from Christoph Schweizer, President and CEO of BCG, and remarks from Philippe Cornette de Saint Cyr, Managing Director and Senior Partner heading BCG Riyadh.
Program Structure and Learning Approach
The full-day launch featured senior BCG Middle East leaders, guest speakers, and accomplished alumni guiding participants through interactive sessions. Mariam Ahmed, Project Leader at BCG, presented “Signals of the Future,” exploring megatrends including artificial intelligence, automation, and geopolitical volatility. She emphasized the importance of dynamic capabilities such as curiosity, adaptability, and learning agility in navigating an uncertain world.
The afternoon included an interactive workshop titled “Turning Ambition into Action,” where BCG consultants and alumni facilitated exercises helping students translate aspirations into concrete roadmaps with specific objectives, initiatives, and accountability measures. Alumni shared reflections on their post-program transitions, offering practical guidance on early career decisions and habits supporting sustained professional growth.
Alumni Success and Career Guidance
Former consultant Noura AlSwailem delivered a session titled “From Once in Your Place,” sharing her career experiences with participants. The program then concluded with Nicola Di Menno’s presentation on “Unlocking Potential,” reinforcing the program’s focus on individual development and professional advancement.
Alumni who have graduated from the program now hold positions across leading organizations throughout the Kingdom. Their success underscores the program’s effectiveness in preparing young professionals for influential roles in Saudi Arabia’s dynamic sectors.
Alignment with Vision 2030
The program’s design directly supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which calls for leaders equipped with both technical expertise and the ability to drive innovation, foster inclusivity, and contribute to the Kingdom’s transformation into a knowledge-based economy. By exposing participants to real-world challenges across critical sectors and connecting them with mentors who have navigated complex career paths, the program prepares young professionals to become active contributors to the nation’s development agenda.
“The transformation underway in Saudi Arabia demands a new generation of leaders who can navigate complexity, embrace uncertainty, and turn bold ideas into tangible outcomes. Programs like Jeel Tamooh play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.”
Philippe Cornette de Saint Cyr, Managing Director and Senior Partner, BCG Riyadh
Key Program Outcomes
The launch event concluded with a message that individuals define their own potential, and that unlocking it is an ongoing journey rather than an endpoint. Participants left with three core commitments: embracing personal agency and continuous learning, staying informed in a rapidly shifting world, and setting and acting on clear goals with accountability and ownership.
“Investing in exceptional talent today is the most powerful way to shape tomorrow’s possibilities. When you combine skill development with mentorship and community, you create leaders who can drive change and create meaningful impact.”
Omar Hunaidi, Partner, BCG Middle East
The program has established itself as a cornerstone of talent development in the Kingdom. Participants gain access to hands-on experience across multiple sectors, personalized mentorship from experienced BCG consultants, and membership in a professional community that extends well beyond the formal program experience.
