Boston Consulting Group concluded the seventh edition of its Jeel Tamooh program on February 25, 2026, after equipping more than 150 high-performing students from leading Saudi universities with consulting fundamentals and leadership skills aligned with Vision 2030.
The six-month initiative combined virtual learning with hands-on workshops and in-person campus engagements across Dammam, Jeddah, and Riyadh. This blended model enabled broader geographic reach while maintaining focus on practical application and real-world consulting exposure.
Leadership Development Through Structured Mentorship
Philippe Cornette de Saint Cyr, Managing Director and Senior Partner at BCG, said the Jeel Tamooh program equips students with world-class skills while empowering them to contribute to the nation’s transformation. He stated that the passion demonstrated by this year’s cohort reaffirms that the next generation will play a pivotal role in shaping a dynamic and globally competitive Saudi Arabia.
The program opened with a launch event attended by BCG alumni, industry experts, and regional leadership. The full-day agenda featured expert-led sessions on navigating the Kingdom’s labor market, building smart cities, driving innovation in food and water security, and charting the future of finance.
Akram Awad, Managing Director and Partner, welcomed participants and set the tone for the learning journey. Throughout the day, students gained insights through specialized presentations and an interactive panel discussion on consulting careers, led by Managing Directors and Senior Partners Vladislav Boutenko and Yvonne Zhou, along with Partners Omar Hunaidi and Martin Blechta.

A defining feature of the program is its one-on-one mentorship model, through which each participant is paired with BCG consultants for individualized guidance throughout the six months. These skills support students as they enter interview processes for BCG internships and full-time roles, and as they apply their capabilities across opportunities in the wider market. The program also included sessions on professional development and career planning tailored to Saudi Arabia’s evolving economic landscape.
Networking and Future Career Pathways
The program culminated in nationwide networking events hosted by BCG, offering participants direct access to Partners, consultants, recruiters, and alumni. These engagements ensured participants concluded the experience well-informed, professionally supported, and fully prepared for their next career steps.
The launch event also featured talks from alumnus Fahad AlBassam, Co-Founder of Soum, and Mohammed AlKhalid, Founder of the NetZero Initiative. Their presentations provided students with insights into entrepreneurship and sustainability initiatives within the Kingdom’s business ecosystem.
