King Salman Park is set to advance its digital capabilities following a two-year strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding signed between King Salman Park Foundation and Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia Co. Ltd. at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.
The partnership establishes a framework to explore artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and digital platforms to support operations and visitor experiences across the urban destination.
Advancing AI and Smart City Solutions at King Salman Park
Under the agreement, both entities will work on an AI development roadmap and test specific use cases through proof-of-concept initiatives. The cooperation also covers frameworks for smart-city platforms, focusing on data governance, interface standards, and system integration.
Furthermore, the initiative includes testing emerging tools such as Digital Twin systems, robotics, augmented reality, virtual reality, and intelligent automation for sustainable park management.
Digital Architecture and Talent Development
The agreement focuses on developing standardized information and communications technology architecture. This structured technical foundation aims to support secure and scalable operations as King Salman Park continues its urban development in Riyadh.
In addition to technological systems, the collaboration includes a knowledge-transfer plan featuring a train-the-trainer program. This training framework will enable internal engineers and technical teams to build skills in emerging digital domains.
