LG Electronics has opened its first AI Home Experience Zone at the LG Riyadh Brand Shop to present connected living products to Saudi consumers and commercial developers. The dedicated showroom highlights smart domestic systems alongside built-in home appliances designed for the residential and commercial real estate sectors across Saudi Arabia.
Features of the AI Home Experience Zone
The newly launched space displays built-in appliance units connected to smart network infrastructure. Property developers, hospitality operators, and residential managers can inspect automated systems configured to simplify housing equipment procurement across large developments.
Visitors can test connected appliances managed through centralized interfaces. In addition, the showroom models demonstrate how modern smart devices communicate across local home networks to support automated domestic tasks.
ThinQ ON Central Controller and Security
At the center of the exhibition is the LG ThinQ ON controller, which operates using generative artificial intelligence. The device processes spoken commands in natural language while learning user routines to automate scheduled operations throughout the residence.
The hub holds Matter certification and connects with more than 50,000 devices via the Homey Pro platform. Furthermore, the company integrated its proprietary LG Shield cybersecurity system to encrypt and store operational data generated across connected devices.
Partner Integrations for Energy and Safety
The installation incorporates specialized hardware from several technology partners. Schneider Electric provides automated energy management systems that control lighting and cooling schedules to reduce electrical loads. Intercom communication units come from Hikvision, while Assa Abloy supplies digital door locks and access controls.
“The inauguration of our first AI Home Experience Zone in Riyadh brings our vision of the ‘Zero Labor Home’ to life in line with local goals. By integrating with partners like Schneider Electric, Hikvision, and Assa Abloy and centering around the ThinQ ON AI hub, we are redefining what it means to live smart.”
Jungho Kim, Managing Director at LG Saudi Arabia
Commenting on the technical partnership, Hossam Swailam, Head of Offer and Channel Marketing at Schneider Electric, stated:
“Our collaboration with LG showcases the potential of integrating advanced energy management with AI home solutions. We provide real estate developers and homeowners with scalable technologies that optimize energy consumption.”

Alignment with Saudi Urban Development
The expansion into connected appliances reflects broader growth in the Saudi housing and construction market under Saudi Vision 2030. Commercial builders are adopting automated building management systems to fulfill national sustainability and energy conservation standards.
Kaster Zhang, Project Director at Hikvision Saudi Region, stated that integrating intercom systems into unified software networks simplifies access management for property operators. Live demonstrations of the integrated technologies remain open to commercial partners, technical specialists, and retail consumers at the Riyadh showroom.
