The LG AI Home ecosystem took center stage at IFA 2026 in Berlin as LG Electronics introduced its latest intelligent appliances and energy management platforms. The showcase highlighted automated home solutions alongside space-saving Fit & Max appliances designed to reduce household power consumption.
Connected Living with the LG AI Home Platform
At the core of the presentation, the LG AI Home setup featured the LG ThinQ ON hub and the new ThinQ Claw text-chat agent. Driven by contextual intelligence, ThinQ Claw interacts with users through natural conversation to coordinate kitchen appliances, adjust climate settings, and manage daily digital services. In addition, all connected home hardware remains protected under the LG Shield cybersecurity framework.
The central exhibit also featured the LG AI Orchestra kinetic installation. In this display, the LG CLOiD robot directed a connected network spanning smart devices, home appliances, televisions, and climate control units.
Space Optimization Through Fit and Max Solutions
To address spatial constraints in modern housing, LG expanded its Fit & Max appliance line across multiple categories:
- Refrigerators: Flush-fitting French-door units include Dual FRESHConverter+ multi-temperature zones and AI Fresh cooling controls.
- Laundry Systems: Slide-in washers and dryers utilize Direct Drive motor systems, joined by the compact 25-inch LG WashTower.
- Dishwashers: Flush-mount units introduce a one-hour wash and dry program paired with AI SenseClean technology to adjust cycles based on soil levels.
Energy Efficiency Across Home Appliances
The company demonstrated several advancements aimed at lowering power and water usage across standard residential appliances. Specifically, the flagship washing machine uses up to 70 percent less energy than European Class A baselines, while washer-dryers exceed Class A benchmarks by 30 percent. In parallel, bottom-freezer refrigerators surpass Class A energy efficiency requirements by up to 35 percent by activating AI Saving Mode during quiet hours.

Commercial Systems and Premium SIGNATURE Appliances
LG expanded its intelligent hardware portfolio into luxury and commercial sectors. The LG SIGNATURE refrigerator incorporates large language model voice recognition alongside a 6.8-inch display, while the companion wall oven uses internal cameras and artificial intelligence to guide cooking settings. For enterprise facilities, LG presented ThinQ Pro for HVAC management and the Homey HEMS platform to coordinate solar energy storage, EV charging, and appliance consumption.
