LG Electronics has officially launched its 2026 LG RGB evo television lineup, introducing new display technologies designed to improve color purity in premium LCD screens.
The company announced the global rollout of the Micro RGB evo AI and Mini RGB evo AI models from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These new displays use advanced artificial intelligence processing to separate red, green, and blue spectrums.
The flagship model, known as the MRGB95, features proprietary Micro RGB technology and has received a CES 2026 Innovation Award. Notably, this display achieves Triple 100 Percent Color Coverage across BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB color spaces. The integration of these standards ensures accurate color reproduction for broadcast and cinema content. Consequently, users can experience highly detailed visuals on screens measuring up to 100 inches.
Technical Specifications of LG RGB evo
The LG RGB evo lineup relies on the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 to manage image rendering.
This processor uses a Dual AI Engine to analyze texture and sharpness simultaneously. In addition, the Precision Color Enhancer maintains the purity of primary colors while enabling smooth gradations. Meanwhile, the Mini RGB evo models use Tandem LED technology to stack multiple RGB color layers. This configuration helps maintain consistent clarity across a wider range of premium LCD televisions.
Display Performance and Color Standards
Both the Micro and Mini models have received High Purity RGB Spectrum Display certification from TÜV Rheinland. Furthermore, the Mini RGB evo models achieve Double 100 Percent Color Coverage across DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB spaces. These devices are powered by the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3, which optimizes contrast and detail. Specifically, the inclusion of Precision Dimming improves overall image clarity. These advancements represent a shift from conventional LED television designs.
Gaming Features and Audio Integration
For interactive entertainment, the televisions support 4K 120Hz HDR cloud gaming through the GeForce NOW platform.
Players can access low-latency gaming without requiring a dedicated console or personal computer. Moreover, the Motion Booster 330 technology supports refresh rates up to 330Hz to reduce motion blur. The displays also feature Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies. When paired with the Sound Suite AI, the system uses Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to optimize wireless speaker setups.
Smart Platform and Security Protocols
The smart platform runs on webOS 26, which incorporates personalized features like AI Voice ID to recognize individual users. Additionally, the system integrates Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot to answer user questions through voice commands. The AI Magic Remote supports 24 languages for voice control. To protect user data, the company installed the LG Shield cybersecurity system. This security technology was recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree in Cybersecurity.
The company stated that the global rollout of the LG RGB evo series will occur in phases. Availability will vary depending on regional markets. This launch highlights the company’s ongoing development of display technologies.
